Canary Islands hotspot faces a deathly outbreak
A Canary Islands hotspot popular by holidaymakers probably face a deathly outbreak of dengue & yellow fever in the coming days. The insect - the Aedes aegypti - could too spread other viruses popular in tropical & sub-tropical areas including Zika virus fever, Mayaro & Chikungunya. Officials appeal which apart from sporadic imported statuses, yellow & dengue aren't present in the Canary Islands. The Canary Islands regional health authority approved the discovery of the Aedes aegypti mosquito in a statement.
